Autumn is my favorite time of the year for so many reasons. I associate it with such special times and memories. It's a time for birthdays, which I can always count on to arrive. It's a season of candles, blankets, sweaters, boots, and yummy treats. A time to appreciate the end of warm summer nights and embrace a new crispness in the air. It's a time for death to be beautifully displayed in a spectrum of red, orange, and yellow on the leaves of the trees; a time to revel in God's creations. I have always had a certain obsession with fall that I can't quite explain. I think it's a combination of nostalgia of all of the different aspects I described above. But I also think it's because I'm aware that I was brought into this world right in the middle of autumn: October 15, 2000. I have a feeling similar to pride when I think about that. I reflect with endearment years past full of warmth, family, and home. Overall, it's a time near and dear to my heart that I believe God has given me a connective appreciation of.
