Dear Writer's Block

It’s not you, it’s me… I let myself get intimidated by you. And the truth is, you get in my way and make me feel like I’m not as good of a writer as I actually am.
On the days when I overcome you or you don’t seem to show up to create problems at all, I feel so free and inspired. And I wish I felt like that every time I wrote.
But the truth is that I don’t. And in order for that to change, I am going to need to break up with you.
Yes, Writer’s Block, I am breaking up with you. You cause me to doubt myself, you bring me down, and I’ve had enough. So, goodbye. I won’t be missing you.
