definition of love
By: Meghan Coley
“love” noun - an intense feeling of deep affection
verb - feel deep affection for (someone)
someone. who could that someone be.
Love is an intense thing of the past.
A feeling of the present.
And rooted deep in the future.
Affection stemming from
A kind of god that surely must stem from
God?
The silver screen will forever display
someone embracing someone else.
“love” noun - a great interest or pleasure in something
verb - like or enjoy very much
something. what could that something be.
Is love merely an interest,
Pleasure projected onto
An object equated with the word “like?”
Doesn’t seem strong enough to me.
Because if I could reach my hand through
That silver screen
I would keep those picture perfect couples
From ever letting love (noun or verb) go.
