good decision

Good Decision

By: Meghan Coley

Nothing could wipe the trembling smile

Off of her face. Not while he keeps
Telling her, in so many words,
That there are too many pictures and films
In which her face appears.
Not while she could break his heart again.
Girl stands in front of boy.
Her request for love is deafening
In the otherwise quiet shop. And
Long stares are exchanged in which
Love remains a ball in both of their courts.

Notting Hill (1999)
